    Used in the analysis of expression data from DNA microarrays, protein microarrays, tissue arrays and cell arrays, acquires data at two wavelengths simultaneously which allows for reduced scan times and eliminates potential errors associated with aligning two separately scanned images, provides real-time access to data as it is acquired, features standard microscope slide sample type, adjustable scan area (22 x 71.5mm max), 532nm and 635nm solid-state lasers, two emission filters optimized for Cy3 and Cy5 or spectrally similar dyes, dual photomultipliers, scan time is 6.5 minutes for both channels, comes with a Windows XP computer with Axon GenePix 4.0 software installed with parallel port dongle, calibration slides (GP-7 RED/GP-8 GREEN), monitor, keyboard and mouse, 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 6.0A.
